This is obviously bait but I’m gonna use it as an opportunity to discuss the importance of semantics around this occupation but first I wanna say that I absolutely do not condemn Hamas nor do I think they’re a terrorist organization.
Hamas was formed (after the first Intifada) as a response to Israeli occupation. It’s only considered a terrorist organization by entities like the US, EU, Canada, and ofc Israel. All of these entities share a common history of settler colonialism. It’s in their best interest to label Hamas (or any org that violently resists colonialism) as terrorists.
The truth is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with violently resisting your oppressor. So no I def don’t condemn Hamas. The only people I condemn are Zionists. Fuck Israel
